In the House of Commons, Mr. Asquith 6tated that the Government had no intention of legislating for the purpose of debarring non-British born from becoming members of the House of Lords, the House of Commons, or tho Privy Council. Such a proposal would bar General Botha (Prime Minister of South Africa).
