Messrs. Dalgety and Company. Limited, report having held their fourth .'annual Sanson hogget sale in Mr. H. J. Pagan's (kindly lent for the occasion) on Thursday, when tho yarding, comprised 6450 mixed-sex hoggets; several lines failing to come forward owing to the extremely rqugh weather. Despite this fact and a breakdown in the train service, _there was «. large attendance or tho outside public, and others were also present from Wanganui, H<wke's Bay, and up the, Main . Trunk line. The yarding comprised some exceptionally nice 1-aes of hoggets, and these met with keen competition. Quotations:—On account of A.
