ENGLISH EAST COAST AGAIN VISITED NO MILITARY DAMAGE REPORTED The High Commissioner reports:— London, August 3, 2.10 p.m. "The War Office states that German airships crossed the Eastern counties and tho coast shurtly after midnight on Wednesday. Their objective was not ascertained as the raid is still proceeding. Bombs wero dropped on various places."

London, August 3, 5 a.m. "The 'War Office reports that the raid appears to have been carried out with seven airships. A considerable number of bombs are reported to havo been dropped on places in the ■ Eastern and South-eastern counties, but no definite reports havo been received. No military damago has yet been reported. Many anti-aircraft guns were in action, and at least one airship is reported to havo beem hit—afterwards -proceeding ' sea-ward in a badly damaged condition."
