5CONCERNING THE SANITARY SEB- .. , VICE. An adjourned general meeting of the Onslow Borough Council was held on Thursday, the Mayor' (Mr. C. C. Crump) presiding. A sanitary service was discussed at a recent meeting of Ilia council, and a report of the committee set up to consider the proposal was submitted. It stated that owing to the refusal of the City Engineer to allow the .Kaiwarra septic tank to 1)0 used for tho purposo of a sanitary service for the borough, and also the difficulty of raisins money at the present time to construct a separate 6eptic tank, the committee did not recommend the council to 20 further into the matter at present. The report was adopted.

Considerable discussion ensued, in committee, over the engineer's report concerning the new proposed approach to Khandallah. In.open council the following resolution was carried: "That in view of.tho fact that the council has already voted .against proceeding with the Road Access Association's scheme to Khandallah. no engineer's report be obtained at this stage."
