Dunedin, July 27, A fire broke out in~~Au6tin and Son's studio, situated in a top story building in Princes Street, occupied by Braitt waite's Booksellers and Stationery Co. to-night, and resulted in the upper portion of the building being gutted, and . considerable damage being doue to the stationery from water. Tho photographic, business was insured for £160, divided, between tho New Zealand and Staudardi Offices. Tho stock of the stationery business was insured for X'7ooo, .£2OOO of which is in the Guardian Office. The _ other offices are not available. The estimated damage and loss in the studio is .£2OO, and in Braithwaite's building ,£SOOO.
