FIRE AT REMUERA
By Telegraph—i-'ress Associalhn. Auckland, July 26. A seven-roomed houso.and contents at Remuera, owned by Mr. C. R Bailey, of Manurewa, and occupied by Mr. C. F. Saunders, was destroyed by fire this evening. • The value of the house was ,21000. It was insured for .EBSO in the Alliance office, and .the contents, valued at .£950, were insured for J.'JSO in tho London and Liverpool office.
