MESOPOTAMIA AND THE DARDANELLES
COMMISSIONS OF INQUIRY. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association, London, July 24. In the House of Commons, Mr. Asquith introduced the Mesopotamia and Dardanelles Commissions Bill. The Bill gives discretionary powers to sit in camera or otherwise. THE AUSTRALASIAN DELEGATES. (Ita). July 25, 6.30 p.m.) London, July 24. It is expected that the opening of the Dardanelles Inquiry will be postponed sufficiently to permit of the arrival of tho Australasian delegates. It is considered that the inquiry otherwise would bo unsatisfactory from the Dominions' viowpoint, inasmuch, as it would possibly not deal with the detailed operational Senator Pearco and Mr. W. J?. Massoy will represent Australia and New Zealand respectively.
[The above reference to Mr. Massey's inclusion in tho Dardanelles Committee was mentioned to tho Prime Minister last evening. Mr. Massey said that he had not heard anything about the matter so far.]
