He explained that after expending from April 1 last till, July 22 i' 559,000,000 of the War Loan, Iho Government had £11,000,1)00 in kind. The Navy Army, and munitions had coat •£379,000,000; Loans to Allies, X157.OOO.0O0; food supplies and railways, .623,000,01)0. Tho average daily expenditure on the war was ,± - 4,950,000. He hoped that the Army and Navy expenditure would not in tho' near future exceed tho present level. On the basis of five millions daily, tho present vote would last till the end of October,
