STRINGENT ACTION FORESHADOWED. The Minister of Agriculture (Hon. W. D. S. Mac Donald) stated at a conference of tho Council of Agriculture yesterday that there was no <loubt that the quality of some of our. dairy produce had fallen off. Eighty-five per cent, of the dairyfarmers, Mr. Mac Donald' said, were producing a good article, but there was another class of farmer who was running a •risk of spoiling the good work that had been done. It would bo necessary to take more stringeut action against thoso whoso produce, might Toducc our prices in tlie Homo market.
