The British steamer Lestris, 1381 tons, was captured and brought to Zecbrugge. A GREAT SWIM BY .FRENCH SUBMARINE SURVIVORS. Paris, July 7. A French official communique tells an exciting story of the rescue of tho crew of the French submarine La Fourcho after the sinking of the Citta di Messina. Although the submarine was broken in two only 19 were drowned. The commander ordered the survivors to don lifebelts' and dive into the sea. They swam for four hours, keeping together, the best swimmers helping the others, all singing the "Marseillaise." Italian cruisers rescued them, and not a man of the heroic swimmers was lost. [The Italian auxiliary cruiser Citta di Messina (3495 tons) was torpedoed in tho Straits of Otrauto on June 26, Tho French submarine La Fourche, which was escorting her, attacked the submarine, which disappeared. The La Fourche' (715 tons), later, herself was torpedoed and'-sunk.l SWEDISH RE-EXPORTS AGREEMENT WITH BRITAIN. Copenhagen, July 7. The "Daprcus Nyheder" states that Great Britain will accept thn guarantee of the new Swedish commercial lew concerning re-exports. As llio result, local liievrhanls will receive larire deliveries which were previously held up.
