RUGBY

A meeting of tho committee of the Rugby Union was held last evening, Mr. D. D. Weir presiding. A letter was received from the Auckland Rugby Union stating that it had been decided that an amount of 15 per cent, ground fees should be paid by them for the last match played between Wellington and Auckland at Wellington. The committee decided to write thanking the Auckland. Union for the gift. In connection with the- compiling of a roll of honour of all Rugby Union members who have answered their country's call, it was dccided to write to all subcommittees asking for particulars for same. The matter was . discussed once before, but the sub-committees did not forward ihe information required, and the matter was not gone on with. Jt is hoped, however, that it will receive proper attention this time.
