Hides,'.—The market is rather firmer. Australian, 301b. and 401b. weights are unchanged; other weights are Jd. dearer. . Leather—The market is very firm. It is expected that the War Office will shortly buy supplies. Australian basils are nominally unchanged. All good quality is still 'required for military purposes. The 'War Office demands almost double the June requirements.
