Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville talc, held on Wednesday, as follows:—A good yarding of cattle canio forward, and sold well at last Ealo rates. The yarding of sheep was small, and competition was not good, but wc managed to sell everything. Prime oxen, £15 17s. 6d. to £17; prime wethers, 345.; prime cwe6, 265. 9d.; iambs, Zls. 3d. to 23a. 6d. Messrs. W. and G. Trunbull and Co., Ltd., report having held tneir weekly sale in their Waipoua (Mastarton) sale yards, on Wednesday. A small yarding came forward, and a good clearance resulted at the following prices:-Sheep: Fat ewes, ,24b. 10(1.; f.m. ewes in lamb, 225. 2d., 245. 6d. to 275. fel.; cull ewe.-, in lamb, 15s 4d.; b.f. lambs, 20s. Id.; potter rams, 225. 4d. Cattle: 2-year-old Hereford-cross heifers. £6 18s.; Hereford-cross heifer calves, £3 19s. 6d.; M-inonth springing heifers, £4 35.; yearlimr. steers, £3 13s. 6d.; JerEcy steer calf, 30s.
