At a meeting of the Taranaki Licensed Victuallers' Association yesterday tho following resolution was passed:—"ln tlie opinion of this association the resolution passed at a mooting held in New Plymouth on Juno 27,' urging the Government to bring down legislation to enforce six o'clock closing ,of 'hotels, was not warranted, inasmuch as it was not a representative meeting of citizens of New Plymouth (although publicly advertised as such) there being only about one hundred and fifty.porsons present."
