Mr. Asquith', in the House of Cora, mons, promised members facilities to discuss the results of the Economic Con. ference if it was generally desired. The German Press continues its bitter comment on the Paris Conference, l'ho "Frankfurter Zeitung" savs:' "Official circles in England took little interest in the Conference. Mr. Runciman stayed at home, and instead of him, the Marquis ot Crewe, who is a distinguished nonentity —ail authority on neckties and waistcoats, but not on economic matters—attended, with the Conservative Protectionist, Mr. Bonar Law, and Mr. Hughes, who is the Jingoes' chief darling, and cannot be absent from any official Ger-man-eating ceremony."
