THE REPRISAL RAID ON KARLSRUHE
By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright Berne, Juno 25. French Iwmb3 killed a hundred ;and wounded two hundred people who were attending a circus performance at Karlsruhe. (Rec. Juno 26, 8.35 p.m.) Berne, June 2C. Tho air raid on Karlsruho caused a panic in the town. /Travellers state that tho populace was holiday-making, and many of the people were attending Hagenbeck's menagerie. The air bombs, whioh wero intended for the railway, must havo accidentally fallen on the spectators in 'the circus. Ono hundred and twenty were killed. The German Press is indignant at this Teprisal. for the attacks on the French towns.
