FOR OUR GALLANT SAILORS.
Sir,—l would be more.than 1 pleased at your allowing me space to express liiy pleasure at tne spleuuid response so tar made by the contributors to ttie fuuus in aid of the widows and orphans oi' the officers and sailors who lose their lives in the tjreut naval Ijattie. Sir, in uiy humble opinion the cause is a good and noble one, and i also 'Chink it is onethat might well claim the attention of directors of our different dairy companies, as well as the controllers of our many meat export- companies, and also those on the laud engaged in. the raising of wool. As all are aware,'ever since the war began "our sentiuels of the sea," the. British .Navy, have guarded our ocean routes, enabling our produce to reach tho London markets and receive the Leneht of high prices, burely, then, sir, We can spate a mite towards the dependants of those who nobly died protecting our interests. ■ I am pleased to say 1 have already contributed, and I would hail with pleasure the fact of being further penalised by my dairy company making a donation to this deserving cause. Dairy directors! Think it over; it is worthy of a thought. Then act!— I am, etc., MILK SUPPLIEIt. June 15, 191 G.
