. —y — A NEW ROAD NEEDED. The Boseneath. and Oriental Bay Municipal Association held their 'annual meeting Inst evening, Mr. T. W. Ward presiding. It was decided to write to the . City Council re the making of a road from Maida Yale Road to Grafton Boad. as thero is no conneotion between the twostreets within three-quarters of a mile. Further, tho association will ask tho council to make a rigth-of-way from Maida Vale Eoad to tho Evans Bay Boad on a strip of land granted by the owner. , ■ .
In connection with the fund for the dependants of the heroes of the North Sea battle, it is the intention of the association to arrange a concert in conjunction with the Roseneath School Appreciation of the work done on'tho Oriental Bay Esplanade was expressed by the members generally. The office-bearers elected are President, Mr. T. W. Ward (re-elected); vicepresidents, Messrs. R. W. Waterhouee and ±1. opier; committee, Messrs. W Cannon, W G.Thompson, P.
