COLLISION IN THE CHANNEL The High Commissioner reports:— London, Juno 17, 2.10 p.m. The Admiralty announces .tlmt the destroyer Eden, 550 tons, \Vas sunk in tlie Channel during tho night, as the result of a collision. Thirty-one were saved, three officers being lost. ' TWO GERMAN STEAMERS SUNK. FISHERMEN'S. STORY., . (R-ec. Juno 18, 5.5 p.m.) Copenhagen, June 17. Fishermen of O.telo Sund say they saiv two large German steamers sunk by gunfire on Friday morning.
