March 11 last, detailing ■ the acts of gallantry for which the decoration of distinguishea conduct medals havo been awarded (the list of names was previously published) :—.

Acting Sergeant-Major I'. C. Boate, Otago Battalion. For conspicuous gallantry on August 9, ISIIS, at Chunuk iiair (Dardanelles), when, with another lldn-coimmssioncd officer, he displayed great bravery and resouirce in holding the right flank, a weak point requiring great vigilance..

Sergeant J. Campbell, Otago Mounted Rifles. For conspicuous gallantry from August 21 to 30, 1915, at Kaiajik Aghala (Dardanelles), when he displayed great bravery and resource in the performance of his work, and a marked devotion to duty.

For-conspicuous gallantry oh August 9, 1915, at Cliunuk Bair (Dardanelles), when, with a-nother non-commissioned officer, he displayed great bravery and resource in holding the right flank, a weak point requiring great vigilance. Private T. A. U. Poranihi, Maori Contingent. .For conspicuous gallantry on August 0, 1915, at Anzac. During an attack on old No. 3 post, although unarmed, lie seized an armed Tuik and compelled him to surrender. Squadron Sergeant-Major ,W. R-icketts, Wellington Mounted Rifles. For conspicuous gallantry on August 8 and !), 19)5, at ChuDiik Bair (Dardanelles), when he invariably displayed great bravery and resource in the performance of his duties, and set a fine example to all with him. Corperal H. Spencer,, Auckland Battalion. For conspicuous gallantry on August 13, IDIS, at Chunuk Bair (Dardanelles), when he displayed great bravery arid skill in repairing a trench and leading his men under heavy fire. Sergeant B. N. Tavender, Canterbury Battalion. For conspicuous gallantry on Axigust .9 and 10, 1915. at Chunu.k Bair (Dardanelles), as a guide. He displayed great bravery and skill and marked devotion- in the performance of his dangerous duties.

For "conspicuous gallantry on August 7, 1915, at Chunuk Bair (Dardanelles), when he twice crossed a heavily. fire-swept zone to carry forward ammunition. Later lie brought in a wounded man under heavy fire. ■ Trooper J. H. 'Winter, Wellington Mounted; Rlßes.. For conspicuous gallantry from August 21 to 30, 1915, at ICaiajik Aghala. (Dardanelles), when on two occasions he resexued wounded men under heavy fire and .carried, them on his back to the dressing-station.
