Tiio High Commissioner reports:— ' London, June 15, 2.45 p.m. "An Italian official leport says:—Between the Adige and' the-Brenta'there liavo been reconnaissances and artillery actions on both sides. The Italian artillery scattered enemy "columns marching, and shelled hostile batteries. at several points. In the region of Mount Noveg no two enemy attempts in the direction of Mounts Giove- and Brazone were repulsed.' "Yesterday evening, following .on an intense artillery 1 preparation, a Na pott '• Brigad?,. s supported. .by. '• "dismounted cavalry detachments, surprised-the- enemy_ lines-east' of ' Montfalcone. ' .After ' severe fighting, the. enemy trenches remained 0ur5;,.498 prisoners and seven maxims were taken. ; "Squadrons of aeroplanes" bombarded the • station 'at Mattrello and the encampments at the junction ; of Nos and Caproni Valleys, with excellent results.
