FERRY BERTH AT LYTTELTON
NOT EASY TO WORK. By Telegraph—i'ress Asw.'stion. ; Christchurch, June 15. The now bertli for v Wellington ferry steamers at the Gladstone Pier on tho eastern mole of Lyttelton Harbour was tried to-day for the first time by the Maori. The ship wasted time backing in, and was helped by a tug. Those interested agree that it is more easy to handle ferry steamers at the wharf.
