: . PROPOSED, AMENDMENTS. Amendments: to the .Military''Service " .Bill in. regard to appeals to tribunals are to be. moved,in the Legislative Coun- - oil by tlio Hon. J. T. Paul. Mr. Paul's proposals are v as follow :— n: "Nothing contained, in this Act shall :-be'.deemed to prevent any '-person ag-•.-grieved by.the decision - of a Military Service Board; from a right to appeal against such decision. 'Tor the purpose of such .appeals there shall be established a .National Military '■ Service Appeal Board.-' "The National Military Service Appeal Board shall consist- of five persons, to be appointed by the Governor, and to hold '"office-.during his,.pleasure, a"'.- > -. "The. National '.Military Service Appeal " Board shall be deemed to possess all or ' any of the powers conferred by this Act % a, Military Service Board. "The procedure governing all appeals from, the decision of a Military Service : Board , with respect to "all matters- pre- ' "cedent to T the/bearing- of .snoh -appealH .'by'the Natiohal'.Military'Service Appeal Board shall be as'set forth in this Act. "The National Military Service Appeal Board shall also have power to consider and adjudicate-oil questions arising out of-, the administration of this Act. wherever and whenever snoh ■ questions -are -referred to the jioard bj the Minister of Defence."
