. WORK NOW IN HAND. Tho Mayor (Mr. J. P. Lute) announced yesterday that a cheque for .£25 had been received from Messrs. Levin and Co. towards the erection of the club for officers and inen of the Trentliara Camp (on lines similar to the club at the Featherston Camp). Now that the money was subscribed no time was being lost in pushing ahead with the 'erection of tbo club. According to plans got out by Mr. E. 11. Hiley, General Manager of Railways, the club building will bo an E-shapecl structure, with the top and lower lines representing largo billiard and reading-rooms respectively, whilst the connecting line will consist of a large social hall, and at either end separate rooms for officers and non-commis-sioned officers.
