Resolutions were carried against the. Military Ser- , vice Bill. . Palmerston U., June 12. At a large meeting of the Flaxmills Jimployees Union, held to consider the Compulsion Bill, a series of resolutions Mas carried. The opinion was .expressed that the Bill was designed to raise a cheap army and to protect the enormous war profits and wealthy shirker from ]iim tasatmn. The meeting pledged itseli to make a united resistance and strike immediately the Act is put into operation.
