Christchurch, June 12. The Arbitration Court ■ commenced today, and its sittings here will probably be lengthy. An agreement between the General Labourers' Union and the County Councils, was made ,an award, as was that of the grocers' assistants. The recommendation, of the Conciliation Council in the case of the traction and stationary engine-drivers was agreed 'to and embodied in an award.
