ORGAN RECITAL.
There was n ..fair attendance at Mr. Bernard F. Page's organ recital at tlio Town Hall oil .Saturday evening. The programmo opened with an impressive general march (Chopin), played in memory of the late Earl Kitchener: Tho march was played by Mr.-Page with a very full regard for emotion and exquisite melody of the work. A' psychological poem, "Le Genie ct' la Mort," by tho great Russian composer, RebikolF, also found a place on tho programme. The work is written in two scenes, and was dedicated by the composer "to the memory of great men." Mr. Page again played tho fine fountain music and duLt from tho second act of Debussy's opera, "-Belleas and Mclisaude." Tho music appeals more to the mind and imagination than to tho emotions and 6onses. "Three Norwegian Melodies" (Qrcig), and a "Scherzo in F Minor" (Sand iford Turner), together with a request number, "Elegy for 'Cello and Orchestra" (Arthur Alexander), completed an excellent veiling's entertainment..
