CONGRATULATIONS FROM AUSTRALIA. His Excellency tho Governor has received the following telegram from the Governor-General of Australia:— "Tho Government and people of Australia scud hearty congratulations to the sister Dominion on t'he'sueces6 of its battlc-eruiser in action in the 'North Sea, and'on tho brilliant part played by its gallant crew ill 'winning a victory which drove the shattered German Fleet back into port. His Majesty's Australian Navy joins in wishing its comrades a further and final success, and hopes on that day tho Australia will go into action alongside the New Zealnnd. "(Sgd.) GOVERNOR-GENERAL." His Excellency 'has sent tho following reply:— "New Zealand thanks Your Excellency for your cordial telegram of congratulation on tho part played by H.M.S. New Zealand, in tho recent naval engagement. The forces of this Dominion, aro always proud to .be associated with those of Australia, whether on 6,ea or land, and look forward to the day when your hope may bo realised that tho two great sister battle-cruisers may figlit side by side and assist in the final overthrow of the German fleet.
