AUCKLAND WOOL SALE. <"■' By Telegraph—Press Association. , Auckland, June ?. Highly satisfactory prices were realised for wool offered a t the linal sale of the season to-day. With the exception of Eeedy wool, all classes -wore Keenly competed for, and, considering the quality of tile catalogues, the market was strouger than at either of die prineipnl sales. The entries comprised ljb6 bales; there was n good bench of buyers, and practically a, MU clearance was effected. representatives of Bradford houses purchased the bulk of tho offering, a small proportion being secured by wool scourers, while the representatives of New Zealand mills -were Inactive. Bright lines of crossbrcd wcro eagerly sought by Bradford buyers, and prices were from Id. to lid. higher than in February, the top price being 17d. per lb. for five bales. Good medium crossbred sold up lo 15$ d.. while Inferior sorts showed ail advance of Id. to ljd. Locks and pieces realised fully late rates. The loature of .the sale . was the escoptianai demand for crutchings, tho highest price being 14.', d. tor four bales. Prices or lambs' wool advanced under strong competition by scourers, superior lots selling at Id., and inferior at 2d. to id. higher than at last sale.. A lino of 29 ivies sold at 153 d. . / LONDON WOOL SALES. Jlossrs. Dalget.v and Company, Limited, liavo received the following cablegram from their London office under date Juno s:— "The wool market continues very "firm. For the fifth scries of sales tho list of arrivals closed on Juno 3. The gross arrivals amounted to 302,500 hales, or ttatctt direct forwurdings comprise. XI,ECO' b'ales." DAIRY PRODUCE. Messrs.
