Ojd. to Is. I^d.; cai. repairers, Is. 2Jd.; linemen and greasers. Is. ljo.; assistants, Is. Oid. The compa'nj •' is to provide uniforms. The scale of holidays brings the employees into iin; - with other tramway workers of the Dominion. ' In the Dunedin and suburban retail soft goods storemen, packers, and porters' dispute the employees were awardtc ti 10 per cent, war bonus. In the Otago and Southland saddlers' dispute a minimum of Is. 4d. per hour \Vas fixed.
