SATURDAY'S CELEBRATIONS. The .oxecutivo of . the AU-for-Empira Leaguo met at the Commercial .Travellers' Club yesterday, and made the final ar. rangenionts for Saturday's celebrations. Mr.'F. W. Manton presided; It wns decided that a special effort be made in connection with both meetings on Saturday to secure as full an enrolment of members as possible. Mr. Manton stated that the first resolution to bo moved on Saturday evening by the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke), will be of a, patriotic nature, and will' be seconded by Mr.' R. A. Wright, M.P. The Prime Minister (the Right Hon. W. F, Massey) and Sir Joseph Ward will speak in support of tho other resolutions. A resolution affirm, ing approval of tho league, and pledging the supjiort of thoso present, will bo moved by Air. C. B. Morison, K.C., and seconded by Mr. Manton..' Tho Savage Club Orchestra has kindly, offered its services for - tho evening, and thero will bo musical item,s together with tliti Pageant o£ Empire directed by Mrs. James Hannah, to -vary tne proceedings, Tho Tiroutham Camp Brass Jband will alta be in attendance. . . For tho atternoon meeting, the Headmasters' Association have requested the league to reserve 1680 seats for children wno will attend the proceedings. The public will Ijs admitted alter childran are seated. No' charge will be" mada tor admittance.
