THE HATIEAKI KEEPS., The mine manager of the Hauraki Beefs reports as followsStoping -was in hanO over the No. 3 level during tho past week, land some good crushing dirt ivas obtained for treatment. The No. 2 face has been idle all week, other necessary work having to be done repairing the level. In the Wyn. ya.rdton workings the wiuze was sunk a further distance in good country. As a elight amount of, water is coming into the winze, we are going to put a short crosscut, about 25 feet, out from the intermediate below, and "tap the- bottom of winze. This work when completed will give greater advantages. Timbering was in hand on tho drivo going east, and consequently no quarto was broken.
