Scales and Co. received a radio message yesterday from the Barber liner SuTaga, bound from Now York to Wellington, via Panama. . The message stated that.the vessel would arrive in port this afternoon. The Suruga left New York on April 19, and Panama on 'April 30. It is understood that after dischargo the vessel will proceed to Australian ports, via Lyttelton aitti Dunedin. LEAKING SCHOONER AT SUVA. . A cablegram received from Suva last night states that the American schooner Cognltlam Oity has put Into the Island port in a leaking condition. The sailer was thirty-four days out from Newcastle bound "to San Francisco, and according to the mesM.go encountered on May 10 a w'okmt gale. T3io vessel is reported to bo making water at the rate of ten Inches an hour. NIKATJ AND KAITOA. , The following alterations to the time'table of the Nikau and Kaitoa have been made consequent upon tho intervention of the King's Birthday on Saturday. On departure from hero on Thursday the Nikau will remain at Nelsoftjintil Monday night-, arriving lievr. 011 Puoß-day morning, aim leaving as usual that evening . The Kaitoa will leave as usual on Friday night, nred will also remain at Nelson until Tuesday night, arriving baok here on Wednesday. Arrangements have not yet been ma.de with regard to slipping, and the ICaitoa, and sho will probably not occupy tho cradle until the end of next week.
