BILLIARDS

ALCOCK DINER BILLIARD TOURNAMENT. Last night saw the final in both A and B sections, the winners proving to bo Tucker and Bradley, and the runnors-up Kell and A. P. Brown. Tuckor, for the third year in succession, proved himself the most able billiardist, and in each instance has secured the honours after conceding his opponents a considerable number of points. Kell, his opponent this year, lias played very consistently throughout tho tournament, and has established the fact that his only superior was the winner. Bradley, who won tho B section, started off well, and Brown could never quite catch up the literal handicap he was conceding his opponents. Again the winner displayed great cleverness in winning hazards. Tucker will hold tho annual challenge cup for a further year, and also receives a small silver replica as a permanent memento. Tile other prize-winners merely receive an acknowledgment of their success, in the form of a "scrap of paper," as all the entrance fees collected will bo handed over to the Y.M.C.A. War Fund. Mr. De Lautour secured the prize for highest break outside of a prize-winner. In presenting tho prizes Mr. Readc thanked Messrs. Alcock and Co., Ltd., for tho assistance tlioy had given players in providing a room, excellent tables, and all facilities for holding the contest.
