The Wellington Technical Edud:ition Board held a meeting last evening,. Mr. G. presiding. Tho following; 'were also present Messrs. H. Bennett, ■W, J. Thompson, A. Atkins, A. E. &t.ew»frl, T. Ballinger, and the Hon. J. G. W. Aiitken. The visiting committeo forwardiM its report, which was of a very siatisftictory nature. The enthusiasm of thel stall from the director downwards jvas said to be remarkable. In speaking t'i the report the Hon. J. G. W. Aitken said ttiat in his opinion it would be a s plendiid idea if arrangements could be m nde to have the Minister of Education visit the college when the next visit of thfj coramittee takes place. The Minister| would then see the great disadvantage, ,as far as accommodation was concerned; under wliich tho most important work o:f this class of education was being carri'fid out. Th& report was adopted, A letter was received ft;om Mr. J. H. Kiiby suggesting that an /-elocution class bo formed at the college, ■ and he offered to take over the position of instructor. In r further letter Mr. ..Itirby asked if 'anything could be done i|n the matter of forming a technical schocj at Island Bay. After it was 'decided to leave the matter in the hands}! of a committee to report later. t '
