MONTHLY MEETING. A meating of the Board of Wellington College Governors was held yesterday morning, the Jion. J. G. W. Aitken, M.L.C., ill the chair. Messrs. Wm. Allan-, A. Warburton, and W. T. Ward were present. , Thti statement of hnanco presented showed that there was a balance at the bank of X'l-108 Bs. 6d.; lodged, but not credited, .£Bl 19s. 4(1.; cash in hand, .£>o 12s. 6d.; total, -£1511 Os. -id The payments ware as follow: —Wellington College J5733 -Is. 6d„ and Girls' College ,£165 2s. 10d., leaving a credit of .£312 13s. N Tbo outstanding fees were: Wellington, College, 0£1829 lis. Bd.; Girls' .£'-i-9u2 Ss. 7(1.; rents outstanding, .£179 55./, fid. The net. credit shown was .£5394/ ' A letter was receivod from tho British. Leaguo of Empire, asking tho board t<> ( appoint a representative to attend thJa'. Education Conference to be held i'n,' Canada. Nothing was done in the matter. The board considered a letter from Mr. J. I J . Firth, respecting leave of absence for Mr. ll'orice, assistant master. It was decided that leave of absence be nut granted, and tbnt Mr.'Firtli be empowered bo advertise for a successor. Various matters appertaining to v toperty leases were dealt with in oommit/cjee.
