ARBITRATION COURT
DRIVERS' AWAED. : Yesterday the Arbitration Court filed an award affecting tho Wellington Motorodr, Horse' Drivers, and Livory Stable Employees' Union dispute. The award determines wages as follow:—Drivers of one horse, £2 12s. per week; drivers of two or more horses, £2 16s. per week; casual labour io to bo paid for- at the rato of Is. 3d. per hour for drivers of one horse, and ls..4Jd. per hour for drivers of two or more horses. Overtime is to be paid for at the rato of Is. 4Jd. per hour. The award is to come into force on June 5, 1916, and shall continue in force until altered or amended, power to do so of its own motion being reserved by the Court. Hours and conditions remain as fixed by the award of 1912.
