WAR PROFITS

A LABOUR INCIDENT. An interesting incident occurred at the farewell -tendered to Sergt. E. J. Carey last evening. Mr. W. H. Hampton remarked that ho had seen in the Press that coal had risen half-a-crown because the miners "had got a ten per cent, wur Now, ■ those workers were making war profits as surely as the people who had put up the price of coal.
