TO BE SENT TO ENGLAND. ' "Our wounded are going to England," said the Defence Minister, in answer 'to mi inquiry from a Dominion - reporter. "I do not say that not a single wounded man will go to Egypt. Some few may bo sc-nt there. I don't know that any will be, but if tliey are 'they will be only those who arc to be sent l>ack to New Zealand on transports as soon as possible. We want to get Uie>e men back hero, and U givo them the benefit of 'the voyage home as soon as wo can. Our general Echcmc, however, is to evacuate wounded fiom France to England. None will b« sent to Egypt who aw likely to be hampered in tlicir recovery by the Egyptia. l climate."
