The Central Committee of tho Red .Cross Society will benefit by (Over Die net proceeds of a sale of sweets, cakes; (lowers and fancy goods held on Tuesday by the Wadcstown Women's National Reserve and friends in the clubroom, Pitt Street. The stalls were in charge of Mesdamcs Phipson, Loiuafi, Blake and CarwellCookc and a willing band of helpers. Mrs. Brice acted as honorary treasurer.' A musical and elocutionary programme was provided by Mcsdames Costello and Dabourne, Misses Marie Fix, Joplin, Blake, Dwyer, and Georgo, the Rev. C. Harvey, and Messrs. Clarke-Johnston and Pankhurst. Refreshments were provided and an limir's dancing brought a i.-ieasant function to a close.
