ACCUSED' FOUND NOT GUILTY. By Tolezrojjli—Press Assoclation-OoDjriclit Christchurch, May 24. ' A court-martial held at King Edward BaTraclrs on Lieutenant Lennon, of the South Island Railway Battalion, New Zealand Engineers, charged with assaulting Sergeant Prosper at Eyreton Camp on January 3D. After hearing the evidence, the President said the decision of the Court wais that tho charge had not been sustained- "We find tho accused not guiltv of striking a soldier, and have nothing TiirtlTar add." \ The court-inartial to investigate a charge against Sergeant Julian Prosper followed, for liaving struck a superior officer whilst on duty. The hearing was not finished when the Court adjourned.
