CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTORS
SENTENCED BY COURT-MARTIAL. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright . (IJec. May 21, 5.5 p.m.) London, May 20. ' After a week's court-martial, threo conscientious. objectors were sentenced to six and nine months' imprisonment at the' Cardiff Barracks for refusing mcdical examination. The sentence was passed in Che barracks square. Threo hundred troops were paraded, nearly all the mea having been at tho front.
