011 Wedncsdny evening, the sixtj--fonrt.il anniversary, of the. Knox ■ Presbyterian Church, lower Ilutt, was celebrated at a social evening. The Rev. J. J. M'Caw, in extending a welcome to those present, stated that the affairs of tho church were in a flourishing condition, and 110 thanked those who had assisted in bringing about that result. 'The Rov. A. Bruce Todd (St. David's, Potono) also delivered a brief address. A musical'-programme was presented, to which the following contributed:— Mesdamcs U. M. Wilson, Scholos and M'Bain, Misses Williamson, Knight, Ha»gart, and Violet M'Bain, and Messrs. 11. M'Allum-and M'Bain. A vote of thanks to all helpers was carried on tho motion of Sir. A. W. Williamson, senior elder.
