CO-OPERATION .OF CHURCHES. The largest of the five Institutes at Featherston Camp is the United Institute, which is just almost completed. It is not under the control or auspices of Any one particular church or organisation, but represents a first attempt at co-operation on a large scale on the part of the Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, Congregational, and Church of Christ Chufclies, and the Y.M.C.A. Contributions aro being received from all theso bodies._ The concrete result of this co-operation is a building adequately suited to all the varying, duties of a chaplain's work. The building is H shaped, and contains three balls, as well as rooms for the use of the officers in charge. It is possible to hold separate denominational parades at the same time in the Institute. ' Tho largest hall is capable of seating about 800 comfortably, and is tbus easily the largest concert or parade hall in camp. The other halls will provide opportunities for writing, reading, and games. Those in charge of the work in the Institute will bo the Presbyterian nnd Methodist chaplains and a Y.M.C.A. secretary.
