AN EYE-OPENER FOR THE BOERS

A GERMAN DOCUMENT RE VEALED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, May 16. The Bloenifontoin "Friend" publishes a German semi-official report, which was found at Moschi (German East Africa), stating that the Boer clement in German East Africa was most undesirable, as it was far removed from European culture. The report also feared that the Boers would not make good Reichdeutcher, and would never merge with the Germans. It suggested the possibility of the Boers claimin?, as Afrikanders, prior rights and priv. ileges to any part of Africa, which would be highly prejudicial to German aspirations.
