CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH

,'i'he 28th annual gathering of the Courtciiay t'laco Congregational Church was held last night. Tho Kcv. A. E. Hunt presided over a good attendance. Greetings were received from the ftav. Jlr. Asplimd (formerly minister at tho church) and tho ltcv. Mr. Hodge.

Tho secretary's report stated that tho church was in a better position than over before;, it was stronger ,in membership and finance. The report spoko highly of the work dono by tho pastor (Rev. A. E. Hunt) in' and out the pulpit.

During tho evening reminiscences were related by two of the original menVbers of the church, Messrs. Andrew Grey and A. 11. Lewis. Among those present were fivo ol those who had joined tho church when it was founded, in 1887. The Rev. "W. A. Evans congratulated tho church on its good report, and tho ltev. J. Rood Glasson also spoke. .
