POST AND TELEGRAPH OFFICERS
~s _ ■ " The annual meeting of delegates of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Officers' Association will be held in Wellington to-day, when matters of importance to Post and Telegraph employees will be discussed and the results placed before tho Postmaster-General, tho Department, or the Pnblio Commissioner as tho case may be. Leeming, R, J: Thompson (North Canterbury), W. Drake (Tunaru), C. F. Potter (Oamaru), J. M. M'Kay, W. R. M'Kenzie (Dunedin), C. W. Matheson (Invercnrgill), H. J. Curran (Blenheim), and G. C. Patorson (Wellington).
The' Wellington section has .arranged to entertain tho delegates at a smoke concert on Friday, when, in addition to guests of the evening, it is hoped that the Prinie Minister (the Right, Hon. W. F. Massey), the Postmaster-General (Sir Joseph Ward), the Public Service Commissioners (Messrs. D. Robertson, R Triggs, and A. D, Thomson), the secretary of tho Department (Mr. W, R. Mor-' lis), and other Departmental heads will pe present.
