PREFERENCE FOR OUR FIGHTING MEN.
Sir,—May we suggest through your paper that all public libraries in yout district 6hould grant membership to overy returned soldier as a token of appreciation of their services to the Empire in this great struggle for freedom and right until 1920, and in towns where there are no soldiers' clubs that a writing table be placed for their special use. We feel certain tho above privilege would be highly appreciated by our gallant lade. —I am, etc., ' F, NOERIS, Hon. Organiser. National Service League, Masterton.
