THE PATRIOTIC TOURNEY. The weather was nil that could bo desired on Saturday, when tho patrt. otic lawn tennis tournament was continued at the Brougham Hill courts. Following are tho results: — Men's Championship Singles.—Fyfo defeated France, 3—6, 6-3. Men's Championship Doubles. —Howe Bros, defeated Young and Wbitcombe, 6—3, 6—5. Ladies' Championship Singles.—Miss Robinson defeated Miss Wagg, 9 —7; Miss Stephens defeated Miss Van Slaveren, 9—6; Miss Davis defeated Miss Robinson, 9 —o. Combined Championship Doubles.— Miss Stephens and Howe defeated Miss Arrowsmith and Lind, 6—5, 6 —2; Miss Stephens and Howe defeated Miss Grady and Gray, 6—2, 6—2; Miss 0. Stephens and Lees defeated Miss Van Staveren and Van Staveren, 6 —2, 6-2. •■ Men's Handicap Singles.—-Irons beat Bowen, 60—54; Irons beat France, 60—36. In the final, Ward beat Irons, GO—49. Ladies' Handicap Singles.—Miss E. Stephens defeated Miss Gannaway, 50 — 46; Miss Hunt defeated Airs. Howe, 50—48; Miss Tipling defeated Misa Stephens, 50—34. In the final, Miss Hunt defeated Miss Tipling by 50—48. Ladies' Handicap Doubles. —Mrs. BreeCand Mrs. Henderson 'defeated Misses Laurenson and Williamson 60—48. In tho final, Mrs. Breo and Mrs. Henderson defeated Mrs. Earle and Miss Travers by 60—56. Combined Handicap Doubles.—-Miss I. Stephens and Howe defeated Miss Laurenson aud Bowen, 60 —40.
