TROPICAL STORM IN HAWKE'S BAY

A tropical storm was experienced here, when almost an inch of rain fell in ai( hour in some localities in this district and in Napier late on Sunday night. Tha r-fillars of 'some business quarters wera llooded, resulting in a good deal of damage. The trams were liold up, and tha railway goods shed Toof was broken open by hail .
